Sunday Times Teaser 2613 – Anagrammatical

Take three different digits and write down the six three digit numbers that can be made by arranging these digits in different orders. Then find the sum of the fifteen positive differences between these six numbers.

For example, starting with the digits of 258 gives a sum of 4644 which happens to be a multiple of 258.
