Sunday Times Teaser 2796 – George and the Dragon

Yesterday was St George’s day and to celebrate George getting even with the dragon I wrote down an addition sum. Then I replaced digits consistently by letters, using different letters for different digits, to give

SAINT  +  GEORGE  =  DRAGON

Given that GEORGE is even, what number is DRAGON?
