Sunday Times Teaser 2610 – Odd Ages

by Robin Nayler

Published: 29 September 2012 (link)

Recently Alex, Bernard and Charles were comparing their ages in years. Alex’s age was an odd two-figure number and Bernard’s age was a whole number percentage more than that. On the other hand, Charles’s age was also an odd two-figure number but Bernard’s age was a whole number percentage less than that. They were surprised to find that the percentage was the same in both cases.

What were their three ages?
