Sunday Times Teaser 2621 – Come Dancing
by Angela Newing
Four dancers (A, B, C and D) danced with their partners in front of four judges (J, K, L and M) who each awarded 4, 3, 2 or 1 point to each performance.
After each dancer’s marks were added up, the dancers finished in alphabetical order with no ties. A’s winning margin over B was larger than B’s over C and B’s winning margin over C was larger than C’s over D. J’s order was different from the final order. K’s 4 points and L’s 3 points went to dancers who were not placed first or second.
How many points did C get from the judges?
