Sunday Times Teaser 2791 – Four-Square Family
by Susan Bricket
My four sons are all under twenty, only one being a teenager.
Two years ago the square of one of their ages was the sum of the squares of the ages of the other three.
This year the sum of the squares of two of their ages is equal to the sum of the squares of the ages of the other two.
What, in increasing order, are their ages?
